The aviator jacket was designed to keep pilots sufficiently warm in unheated cockpits during WWII. Our modern interpretation is made from burnished effect lamb leather with a detachable, genuine sheepskin fur collar to echo the original design. To meet the needs of dropping temperatures, our team finished Friedman with Thinsulate insulation for lightweight warmth without bulk.
